Show Day

9th November 2024

Welcome to the Westbury Show, Tasmania’s third-oldest agricultural show. 2023 sees the show celebrate its 160th anniversary of the founding of the Show!

2023 saw record showgoers and entries in all competitions, including cattle, kennel and home industries.

2023 saw a newly introduced shearing and wool-handling competition pitting Tasmania’s best shearers against mainland competitors. Another agricultural stable, woodchopping, was back for a second year too!

We like to say that we are the family variety show of the north. Our show has something for every family member, from horse competitions, kids’ entertainment and our popular FREE kids’ corner, dog demonstrations to a fantastic array of home industries creations.

The Show Goes On At Westbury, 1894-2023 history book was launched at the 2023 show. There are limited copies of the book remaining. They can be purchased for $30 by contacting Mrs Judy Kilby OAM by email pinelodge1@bigpond.com

Ticket sales will be cash or EFTPOS at the gates on show day. Show closes at approximately 4pm.
